Product Description

1. The SPARC M12-2 server is configured with up to 2 processors, scalable to up to 24 cores and 192 threads, and supports up to 2 TB of DDR4 memory and 11 on-board PCIe slots, all in a compact 4U chassis. Up to 72 PCIe slots can be configured through an external PCI expansion box.
On-demand activation technology based on the processor's physical core allows fine-grained and agile response to changes in business requirements.
2. Innovative Fujitsu Liquid Gasification Cycle Cooling (VLLC) technology effectively cools servers through the liquid gasification process. VLLC is about three times more efficient than traditional cooling technologies, resulting in increased compute density and cost savings for the data center.
3. Greatly improve Oracle database processing and encryption performance with Fujitsu SPARC M12's Software-on-a-chip function (SWoC). By using dedicated single-core computing logic in each processor, software-on-chip functionality (SWoC) allows more of the tasks that are normally handled solely by software to be handled by the CPU, greatly improving system performance. Software on Chip functions (SWoC) include Single instruction Multiple Data (SIMD) for in-memory processing, decimal floating-point arithmetic, and cryptographic processing.
4. SPARC M12 server has mainframe-level RAS (High Reliability, High Availability, High Maintainability) features. Key business processing features include: command level automatic repair, extended error checking and correction (ECC) protection, data link consistency, memory mirroring, redundancy and hot-swappable system components, and support for dual power modules.
